Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Evolance collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information in connection with the Evolance private client platform. Evolance is the data controller for the processing described here.

01

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including identity data (name, date of birth, nationality, government-issued identification), contact data (email address, phone number, residential address), and financial data (source of funds, wallet addresses, transaction history on the platform).

We also collect technical data automatically when you use the platform, such as device information, IP address, session activity, and security logs.

02

How we use information

We use personal information to review applications, verify identity, comply with anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing obligations, operate and secure the platform, execute deposits, trades and withdrawals, calculate performance and fees, respond to support requests, and communicate service updates.

03

Legal bases

We process personal information on the following bases: performance of the contract we have with you, compliance with legal obligations (including financial-crime and tax reporting), our legitimate interests in operating a secure platform and preventing fraud, and your consent where required.

04

Sharing of information

We share personal information with regulated service providers who help us operate the platform, including identity-verification providers, custody and exchange counterparties, on-ramp and off-ramp providers, cloud infrastructure providers, and communications tools. These parties are contractually bound to protect the data.

We also share information with authorities where legally required, including in response to lawful requests from courts, regulators, or law-enforcement agencies.

05

International transfers

Personal information may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms, to protect the information.

06

Retention

We retain personal information for the duration of the client relationship and for such further period as required by applicable law, typically no less than five years after the closure of an account for records subject to AML retention obligations.

07

Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, hardware-backed key management, mandatory two-factor authentication for client accounts, and continuous monitoring. No system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@evolance.io. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

09

Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the platform and, where you consent, analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings and any in-app cookie controls.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify clients by email or in-app notice before the change takes effect.
