Compliance

Evolance is committed to operating a private client platform that meets rigorous standards for financial-crime prevention, client due diligence, and operational integrity. This page summarises our approach.

01

Financial-crime programme

Evolance maintains a written anti-money-laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism-financing (CTF) programme, overseen by a designated compliance officer. The programme is reviewed at least annually and updated to reflect evolving typologies, regulatory expectations, and business risk.

02

Client onboarding and due diligence

Every client is onboarded through manual review. We collect and verify identity documentation, screen against global sanctions and politically-exposed-persons (PEP) lists, and assess the source of funds and source of wealth on a risk-based basis.

Enhanced due diligence is applied to higher-risk relationships, including clients from higher-risk jurisdictions and those with unusual account activity.

03

Sanctions

We screen clients, counterparties, and transactions against applicable sanctions lists, including OFAC, the EU consolidated list, UK OFSI, and UN Security Council designations. Evolance does not knowingly provide services to sanctioned individuals or entities, nor to residents of comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions.

04

Transaction monitoring

Deposits, trading activity, and withdrawals are monitored on an ongoing basis using rule-based and behavioural analytics. On-chain analytics tools are used to assess the provenance of incoming digital assets. Suspicious activity is investigated and, where required, reported to the competent authorities.

05

Record keeping

We maintain records of client identification, transaction data, and compliance decisions for the period required by applicable law, typically no less than five years following the termination of a client relationship.

06

Governance and training

Staff who handle client relationships or platform operations receive periodic training on AML, sanctions, data protection, and information security. The programme is overseen by senior management and reviewed by independent parties on a risk-based cadence.

07

Cooperation with authorities

Evolance cooperates with legitimate requests from regulators, law-enforcement agencies, and courts in accordance with applicable law. Where confidentiality is required, we will not disclose the existence of an investigation to the client.

08

Reporting concerns
